Haiti Relief, a 501(c)(3) development agency, plans to have a long term mission in Haiti. Its main focus is on the whole Island. However, the organization intends to focus its first efforts on the Seventh and Twelfth rural sections of Les Cayes, the third largest city of Haiti.
In forming Haiti Relief, the Board of Directors sought to develop both a local (Seattle) and national (U.S.) awareness of the major problems that these two sections face daily, and to inspire ordinary people and various companies to join the organization in its stated mission of making a tangible difference in the lives of the affected communities by doing the following activities and projects.
As per its charter, Haiti Relief plans to work on the following projects in Haiti.

Currently, these two sections do not have a medical clinic of their own.
Another leading cause of diseases and mortality in these sections is the absence of clean water.
